So, I'm back in West Virginia for the month, completing my Emergency Medicine rotation. It's kind of a downer. I'm in an apartment building that is comprised of blank, white walls, a few beds, and a coffee table that I have positioned my TV and laptop rather precariously on.

I have my drawing equipment with me; however, it may take some time to get comfortable with the set-up.

Not to mention the fact that Windows crapped out on my laptop and I have no access to Photoshop. Thankfully, I found this (FREE) program called GIMP for Ubuntu, which basically gives you all the features of Photoshop for exactly 0% of the price. Pretty sure GIMP is multi-platform too, so for all of you aspiring artists who can't put out for Photoshop's ridiculously overpriced software suite, I highly recommend it.

Naturally, I'll have to learn how to use GIMP before I can start making any quality comics on it, so more than likely this month will mostly be some stand-alone art updates for you to look at rather than full-fledged comics.

But why are you upset? Don't you have Skyrim or Skyward Sword to play, anyway?
